Comfortable Lodge, Enjoyable Stay

The lodge provided ample space. It was clean and cozy. The restaurant offered a good selection of food. I also found the well-stocked shop convenient. The hot tub was great for relaxation after exploring the coast. The kitchen included a dishwasher and a wine fridge.
I found no clear instructions for using the washing machine.

The restaurant had a variety of options. Food was prepared well. The onsite bar served drinks and tasty food, a plus. I enjoyed the convenience of having this dining option available.

Staff were friendly. They were cute at all stages of our visit. The reception staff was helpful. I appreciated the efficient service I received at the resort.

The swimming pool was available . Massages and facials are available. The site features a spa. I enjoyed using the surf simulator. This added to the overall experience .

The location was close to popular destinations. It offered easy access to Newquay. I found the resort to be a great base for seeing north Cornwall. The surrounding area had beautiful scenery.

The location was close to many towns. The lakeside flat was bigger than I expected. There was a lovely view from the balcony, I saw a kingfisher.
There was no facility to light the gas hob. I had to drive back up to the night porter for a lighter. There were no instructions for the washing machine, I needed this. The doors to the external shed were tied together. They blow open in the windy weather. It woke me up in the night.

broken tapmissing instruction booklets
the oven worked, but we found no instruction booklets for any appliances or the lodge, so we burnt several items. the bath plug control was broken. the cold tap in the kitchen barely worked the first day, then quit completely. i found that the absence of readily available information was frustrating and inconvenient, i would have liked working appliances throughout my stay.

The Lakeside flat had good quality kitchen equipment. I found the super quiet atmosphere offered great sleep. Staff are friendly at the reception.
The tennis courts are unplayable due to a gravelly breaking surface.

The kitchen had a good variety of equipment. The lakeside flat was gorgeous and reminded me of home. I slept great because it was super quiet and dark.
The tennis courts exist, however, they are unplayable because of a gravelly surface. It is dangerous to run fast on it.
